Hygiene Protec A
For use in areas with slight amounts of soiling where high or low-pressure washing is required several times a year. The product has been developed to meet the requirements made by the food, pharmaceuticals and electronics industries environments where all surfaces of the absorber may require cleaning. Ecophon Hygiene Protec A is installed in an exposed grid creating a traditional chequered pattern. A corrosion resistant suspension grid system should be used for applications where washing is required.


	Hygiene Protec A has a glasswool core with a reinforced Akutex T coating that can withstand high-pressure washing. The edges and back of the tile are painted. Also available as Protec II in which both sides of the absorber have a reinforced Akutex T coating.

Cleaning:	daily dusting and vacuum cleaning, weekly cleaning with a damp cloth and low-pressure or high-pressure washing two-four times a year
Moisture resistance:	withstands a permanent ambient relative humidity of up to 95% at 30°C, a higher temperature/moisture is permissible during washing
Handling and mechanical strength:	very good handling properties and relatively good mechanical strength
Light efficiency:	white 010, 87% light diffusion, 84% light reflectance
Fire safety:	BS 476 Parts 6 and 7, ASTM E84, DIN 4102, M0 (France), Nordtest Fire 003 and 004
Indoor climate:	Achieves the Nordic “Swan” eco-label, certified in accordance with the Indoor climate label, recommended by Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association, Cleanroom class M2.5/100 US federal standard 209E
Environmental influence:	Achieves the Nordic “Swan” eco-label. Fully recyclable.
